A few questions... :D
I have a few questions. Firstly:
1. What is 'bake' (in material terms? I've seen it when I was using basic fur tutorials, but I don't understand) 2. Cloth: When I tried to make my tablecloth collide with my table, nothing happened. Do I need gravity? Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give, Chris |
Hey mate.
Baking is a process where a texture is "cooked" onto geometry to preserve and hold texture info, as far as I understand what I have read. It depends if you are using nCLoth or Cloth: nCloth automatically assumes gravity so it will fall when you run the timeslider, and all you have to do it give it a passive object to collide with. Maya Cloth requires the field of Gravity to be added to force it to react. |
thanks!
