The roof looks a bit dense to me, as I can't see any poly's for all the edges. How many polygons in the roof?

Too many...I just extruded the faces up and smoothed it, because i dont know any other way of doing that. :(

zujalica 28-02-2008 05:32 AM

I totally forgot about number 3 -.-, anyway here it is.

perhaps the smoothing was a bit too much as it's a solid blue so I would remake that bit more efficiently.

I just quickly did this to give you an idea of what I mean

Base mesh something like this although this was done in a few seconds so you could make it a bit nicer

It will look like this when Smooth Mesh Preview mode is used in Maya 2008 (press no3 key)

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...othDisplay.jpg

Then convert the mesh preview to poly's using linear and it will look like this

Should be more efficient.

Your mesh looks fine apart from the number of edges going across the roof, take some of those out before you smooth it and you'll be fine

the parts holding up the railing look dense in polys to me to especially for as small as it is
