Medival Ages - chan_345
 

This will be my first comp, and since this is medival stuff, i decided to model some weapons from that era. the first is gonna be a sword.

Here's the handle, it's all i have so far. Now i just got to figure out how to make the gaurd exactly how i want it.

here is a pic of the guard, it's simple for now but i plan on adding a lot of detail to it later after i finish the basic model of the whole sword.

The main blade, made from a nurbs con ewith some cv tweaks.

Here's a pic of the finished model. If your wondering about the times in between posts, they're so short because i went on a modeling frenzy and forgot to take pics of the progress.:banghead:

Here's the list of weapons i'm gonna model. If ya'll wanna see any other weapons lemme know.
1.Sword
2.Mace
3.Battleaxe
4.Sheild

But first i gotta put some detail on the sword, such as, textures/shaders, and color.

it does look good.... but hey, this is a competition :D

Possibly, but it wouldn't be a good looking char. I'm still working on my basic modeling skillz. I can't even get the nurbs head in the tuts that come with maya to look like a face. But i will consider it
