my first head
 

as a newbie i want to work toward head modeling so where better to start i guess..

in the end i hope to seperately render and entire skeleton and put it together..

c how i go..btw..

i know it has the skull shape but the main thing i want to get rid of is the seam type thing down the middle..

any ideas?

hey you ever try the artisian brushes in maya. kick up the model in resolution. and start scuplting and pulling some mesh. its fun.

artisian brushes? can u exaplin how to use them very quickly?

update with more splits etc

schmik helped me by telling me to try keep most polys with 4 sides cleaned them up a tad and added more splits.

nothing much to tell really..just majorly infatuated with the whole mythology etc..and no im not a goth:( though some goth chicks are hot as)

decided to take another approach buy modeling the head and jaw seperately...and walla its dug me out of a what the hell do i do next hole..
