Keep it up!

Beautiful car.

Are you converting to SubD's for render?

And could you give any insight as to your settings for your paint texture? Ive been working on a car for quite a while and any info helps. Im also curious to see how you set up the lighting and scene for the render.

first off yes i comvert to subds for render as it helps with not overloading my slow pc

the paint in hte first paint test is from an old tutorial i found on hte net that i cant find anymore :P i could give u the basic file its juat an *.ma all u need to do is import it and ur ready to go witha few tweeks on the paint shader.

and as for the lighting its very simple as its just a basic render and nothing to ott , i use a very basic directional light with a yellow tint and shadows at 1024 with a gray colour. then i have a plane as the floor with the sides bent up wit ha smooth curve. and well yar thats it very simple but it works :D

hope that helps :D if not ill post a screen of the setup l8r. thanks for the comments :D
