Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Has anyone seen that movie? It's absolutely amazing! You can't even tell that the characters are 3D! It's in Japanese, but it has english subtitles, so halfway through the movie you can swear you're speaking the language yourself :D

I say it's definitely worth a look

Anyone know wich 3d-software it was created in?

MattTheMan 19-11-2005 07:28 PM

Lol, I hear different stories. I've read sites saying it was made in Maya, and more saying 3ds Max. Perhaps it was made in both?

it was made in maya, with many custom tools.

Ive watched "the making of advent children" in the dvd included in this box set and they used XSI.
also a mate told me that XSI is the preferred animation software used in Japan apposed to Maya or 3DMAX
