Walk Cycle

My question is that every time I move the guy's foot his whole body moves forward with it and I just want to move his foot. How do I fix this?

First it would help to have more info. Are you using ik's or fbik's. If you are using a normal foot ik. Moving the foot with the move tool should keep your leg/hip joint in the same spot. This would simulate a leg movement. Is this not happening.

I cant really explain it any better than I did, except his whole body moves with the leg and it shouldnt. His body should stay put and only his leg should move, sorry if I'm not clear but I new at this.

If you cant be more clear, then at least answer the question. There are lots of way that can heppen. Do you know what an ik is?

The most simple fix I can think of is to highlight the hip joint, and press insert, then try moving it, this should isolate the leg away from the spine thus not moving it and only moving the leg joints. Try that...

i think the question you should be asking shontrezzz is if he actually rigged his model, or if he just expects it to move naturally after modeling alone...

ya, I agree. Although if you finish a model and move the foot, the foot would move alone. He indicated the model it's self moved. Unless the model is one big mesh or parented. There are any number of possibilities here. Any ways best of luck to you Shontrezzz, Maya is the way to go.
