I've been looking at the mj-12 computers offered by alienware now it has duel intel pentium xeon processors @ 3.06ghz with out hyperthreading technology Alienwares Area-51 gaming computer uses a intel pentium 4 @ 3.40ghz with hyperthreading Tech, but it also uses a gaming card Which is better for 3D? Now what I want in a computer is Lots of speed Lots of ram Very good Video card I don't want to upgrade for a long time!!!!!! maybe over kill, some of that could be spent on other things you will find you might need. small render farm. just a opinion.
