How to render both sides of a surface?
I'm creating a globe with a transparent sea, so that you can see the other side.
Currently when I render it, the texture on the inside of the sphere is not displayed. It's just white. How can i make it so that Maya renders both the inside and outside of the sphere? Thanks. |
Here is a Link for creating a double sided shader to apply to a material...

I'm really struggling to recreate the image on that site you linked me to.
When i middle mouse drag the samplerInfo to the blendColours node I can't get it to connect in any way. Same happens if I try to connect the blendColours node to the surfaceShader. Help? |
