Attribute editor

Can you tell me how to make the attribute editor appear as a window on a mac so i can transfer the attribute editor to my other monitor with my dual monitor display. thanks!

the mac maya shud be the same as windows, its in your preferences, you can specify whether the a editor is docked or a window
