Maya 2016 - divide = limited. URGENT HELP REQUESTED
 

Tried to add 11 divisions with "Add divisions tools" but I cannot enter a number higher than 8.
All the other divisions tools are also limited to their max limit in the tool (bridge tool division is limited to 25).

How to solve this issue. I already tried (1) removing preference and restarting maya , (2) repairing maya , (3) removing maya from computer and scanning for left over files of maya and removing those too and reinstalling. Non of those things worked.

NEED HELP PLEASE, URGENT ! :O

Why not add eight then reset the tool and add 3 manually? You'll have to move or scale some but it'll give you what you need.

Sorry, why did you reinstall Maya? Seems like a limitation of the software, not a broken install.
Try using a mel command: polySubdivideFacet -duv 11 -dvv 11 -sbm 1 -ch 1;
