bifrost aero not showing in vray frame buffer
 

hello
i am trying to render a smoke effect with bifrost aero. the smoke shows in render when voxel size is0.4 or more. but when i use 0.3 or less it disappears. which kind of screws up the details.
i am using maya 2018 and vray next 4.04.03.
has anyone been through this problem ?
are there any other settings that should be changed along with master voxel size?
what am i missing?
