Two Textures on one Object
 

Hi, I'm trying to put two textures on a NURBS sphere: a cloth texture and a water texture. The method in the book I'm using doesn't work. Does anyone how to do this or where I could find said info? Thanks!

use a layered shader. You can create a transparency map for one of the textures and then the second texture will show up in those transparent areas. There is a nice tutorial at http://www.mtmckinley.net/ (under "tutorials" then "other")
