Paint Tutorial Problems !!
 

Hi, Im hoping someone out there can help me, basically I've created a character in Maya 6.5, & following Kurt's "Painting in Maya, the Basics" tutorial, have encountered a problem, when painting my character, random paint just appears in about 5 different locations at the same time, completely ruining the entire thing, I've tried the same thing painting on an un-modelled plain ordinary polygon, & the paint only appears in one location perfectly, what can I do to get the same result for my character? Any help would be VERY much appreciated, cheers, J.
