not enough ram?
hey there people,
i put this thread in the vip section but it was actually meant for this one. my problem is that i was rendering out 720 frames of an animation where an object follows a path towards and past a target and aim camera then disappears into the distance, i have environmental/physical fog turned on. everything renders fin up until about frame 650 at which point the blue foggy background goes black and my grey object goes blue and appears to get cut out of the scene. ihave rendered this out in tiff and avi format. could this b a ram problem as my system is well below par athlon 650/win2k/256mb ram/maya 4.0/gforce 3 200ti. any help or thoughts would b great, ta. |
Could you post some images of the problem you're having? I highly doubt that is has anything to do with your machine...

damn same problem, i increased my far clipping plane in view/camera attribs from 1000 to1500 but the same problem occurrs. i dont think it is the clipping planes cause when i render out a single tga frame at frame at about 710 it renders fine :
any other ideas ? |
hehe try going from 1000 to 10000 that will work. i dont think 50 is enough.
