Isometric projection

I have to create a city scape but it needs to viewd in isometric (or similar type of view i.e. no persective) bloody clients! so the question is, can this be acheived in maya?

Nem 02-11-2002 11:50 AM

that sounds pretty awkwardly impossible to achieve :(
ive never heard of a way to do that, mayb play with your camera settings

nirsul 02-11-2002 03:16 PM

Definitely YES !!!!

Go to Camera attributes and check the Orthographic Views option

(you should be in a Perspective view )

I looked into it and I agree with nem and nirsul....it's all camera settings.....I believe isometric views are 30 degrees and scaled.....at least with AutoCAD they are (I think)....hehe

gl and I hope it works out:beer:
