Creating a 360 degree Sky

I've got a number of ideas to try, but I thought I'd get some ideas from all of you 'cause I know there are probably a million ways to do this.

So before I get too far into it, how do you all go about creating a sky in an outdoor scene where the camera is going to view every angle?

Any tips or tricks?

Heres the way i do it...

I make a sphere add a lambert.

under incandescence i click the checkerd box and go to ramp.

then i go to the ramp and change the colors and to this..

and make sure u have the type U Ramp

PS. you can also mess around with the HSV color noise.

oh, and when u add more lights make sure u got to go to windows and relationship editors and go to light linking and make it so theres no lights hitting the sphere.

let me know if this helps :D
