Desperate for input on broken trim edges
 

Thanks for your help in advance!

I'm having a problem where I go to select a trim edge on a surface I just trimmed and it is fragmented (the yellow line doesnt span the whole edge).

I tried to select the multiple trim edges that make one line and duplicate them all as a curve but then I can't fillet off of it and its just a royal mess.

Any clue why my trim edges are broken up?
