Merging edges

:confused: Hi Everyone, I'm new here and I'm hoping someone can help me. Ive created a model that needs two edges joined. I've combined both pieces and followed the procedure of selecting one edge and then the next and hitting enter. The result isn't that desirable. Any idea's how I can fix this? It would be hugely appreciated and I'd send you my first born.

One way would be to use the merge vertex tool, just going around connecting up the vertices. Another way would be to select both edge loops and use the bridge function with 0 divisions. Hope that helps.

Edit: And I don't really want your first born... no offence, I'm sure they're lovely.
