Hi there,

Try playing with Edit Polygons -> Wedge Faces.

In order to use this tool, you'll need to select a face, and 1 or more edges (the selection order is irrelevant).

Go into the options box, and mess with the Wedge Divisions and Wedge Angle on a simple object to get the hang of it first.

Here is a demonstration video from the Alias Website.

use a lattice deformer with as many control points as you need.

Or create the pipe by extruding a NURBS circle along a curve...

I have tryed the wadge suggestion and instead of getting a nice round curve I am getting a flat pices going strainght up have tryed messing with divtiions and angle but not getting much different result, can someone just try putting about a 45 degree upwards bend on a pipe which has been rotated onto its side instead of straight up and down

thanks
