Q: My render window doesn't display Mental Ray anymore. How do I bring it back?

Q: Assign New Material doesn't display all the material, how to fix it? :headbang:

Check the Plug in Manager (windows>Settings/Preferences>Plug in Manager), make sure Mental Ray (Mayatomr.mll) is loaded and is also set to auto load. I don't recall ever having missing materials before so I don't know about that, back up your preferences and try loading the defaults, see if that changes anything.
