Looks like a good concept though... But try to make it at least a space jet then :p

ok hear is the little test animation. I have not done the arms, but they are there. and the feet don't unfold. But the perpuse off all this was to show it was very posible to do.

no specal rigging, just parinting, some empty groups made and moving the pivot point. simple and fast.

Nice concept, transforming looks pretty cool, even if I can't really tell what he's transforming into:)

Oh yeah! do it man! That is an awesome direction!

neat-o! Maybe add some lighting so we seem em a bit clearer?
