Rigging tank treads with joints?
Hi!
I'm sure this has been covered before, one way or another, but I couldn't find anything in the forums that could be used for my model. I'm currently developing a model of a robot with sort of tank-like-treads in maya to be used for a game in Unity. Everything went fine, up until the animation-part, as I learned (the hard way) that unity does not support path deformers. I guess this means I will have to use bones, but I have no idea how to do this in a good way. It is worth mentioning that this is my second actual project in maya ever, so any help would seriously be a lot of help.
