The work looks great, though i wonder how he can balance when he got so much weigth in front :)

Well if you animate him that shouldn't be a problem i guess :)

Redmer 29-05-2006 09:12 AM

then i first need to figure out how animation works in maya :D
i know a little bit how it works in 3ds max

thnx i have learned allot
now i'm making the apache model of k. brown that is very much fun. also spending some time making the ferrari model and also the yamaha model so i'm quit busy with 3 different models :bandit:

is there also a way to export the whole model in maya to 3d max including all the smooths and materials... now i exportered as .obj but that doesn't include the smooths and materials... is there a way to export it to a .3ds

the apache model is like 30 parts long.
that should be an interesting (and loooooooooooooong) thread.

that is way awesome, but the legs are placed so far back that it looks like it'd fall over.

lordeugenius 13-07-2006 11:39 AM

It looks amazing considering it's your first time in Maya, I must get my hands on that tutorial so I can learn more. Keep up the good work.

tadpole3159 16-07-2006 08:29 AM

don't the tutorial you followed involve rigging as well?
