hi all
this is my first real work in maya and i just wanted someones opinnion on it:

From what I can see it looks good for a first, try adding some lights and render on another colour oher than black, this should lift it and reveal the details.

not sure about the legs thou, but i don t think i have the energy to remodel it (been working on this one since may....)

if you are rendering using a camera you can change the background colour in the attributes panel under environment.

if you are not using a camera add one as you cant change it using the persp view.

are you using nurbs, polys, or subdivs in modeling?

How do I render, to be honest, like everyone else what makes the difference is the light setup and how you use it.

I use nurbs in the early stages of modeling then convert to polys then convert to sub-D's later on.

any thoughts about refrence photos i could use

For now i m using my own drawings but they re not very good so i m searching for new ones

searced in google but didn t find anything usefull
