Credits to Wat Dhammakay 3D team for the 3D model. Physical Sky/Sun. Maya 2008 MR Mia X materials. For the cutout Monk images, I used the Png. format to avoid any fringe problem (white border pixels). Ciau. Alex Sandri http://www.samui3d.com:bow: |
Looks pretty cool, but…… I'm sure that all monks aren't the same shape and size.
 |
looks great, but like Jr. Who said, I don't think they're all the same shape and size. I would suggest using a couple different cut outs and putting them in there randomly, other than that, it looks good.

yeah - definitely agree with the other comments - i also think the statue looks a little simple. but i like the color scheme and the room a lot. :)

Quick reply...!
I agree about the monks images, but unfortunately I had only one monk reference image,
and to model a 3D monk human figure was out of the scope of the image. About the simplicity of the Buddha statue I don't agree, because in this very famous temple in Thailand, they display Lord Buddha exactly like the 3D model in this image. The point of this image is to converge the eyes of the viewer by using perspective, to the center of the body of Buddha where lies the soul and where everybody should focus doing meditation...! Hope it will help to bring people to meditate...! Ciau...! Alex Sandri http://www.samui3d.com  |
I know for a realisitc pic then there should, as previously discussed a difference between the figures.
But I've got to say, dunno why but I really like it with them all the same!! |
I like it. :)
For some reason i pictured this as being from a music video... Like have the camera zoom into the statue and have it jump up with a guitar and start jamming. Then all the monks start Kung Foo Fighting... |
