How to render a model in wireframe as in max
 
Hi Helpers,

I am using maya for modeling , But , now I want to
render my model in wireframe as in 3ds max without using any
texture in material editior . Is it possible in maya 8 ? If possible
,please write to me all the procedures in stepwise manner .

you could use either the vector renderer or the mental ray contour render option.
For the vectorrender option just select the vectorrenderer in the render globals.
Deselect fill object(if you only want a wireframe) and select include edges.
For the mental ray option select the mental ray renderer then go to contours select Enable Contour Rendering and set the oversample to about 3.
Then go to the material shading group (open the attribute editor off the material and click on the checkbox left off the preset in the right upper corner to go to the shadinggroup).
Then go to mental ray ==>Contours==>Enable Contour Rendering.
