student question
hello everyone,
I may have a stupid question, but i'm a student and i'm have modeled a character. I'm just confused about wether to UV map and textrue first then rig or the other way around. |
Thikn I would UV map and texture it then Rig, then ifyou paint weights you wont get any funkey overlaping areas of geo

The standard way to approach this is:
Model, Map and Texture, Rig, Animate, Produce |
i think i would replace the word 'produce' with render, seeing as how from modeling to rendering you're already in production ;)
