i'm trying to make my critter from the tournament have fur. It didn't really work. The only place the fur showed up is on one of his feet. Anyone know how to fix this???

you're going to have to rearrange the UVs for your character, quick way would be to go to edit polys>texture>auto mapping

rofl, okay thanx. I will sure have no problem with that after i REDO the body, and arms. Then do the UV mappin.

Hi Vectorman,

digital tutor's have some free samples regarding fur... and also a "fur-kit" cd... -->

I don't know if you can use it... I trying to figuring out how fur works aswell...

I would also suggest you to go down to "Cloth & Fur" on this site... -->

i dont think the wires are important if ur just trying to map it all out, well, they are but ya no :) auto mapping still works

Vectorman 21-04-2003 04:20 PM

Thanx guys, I will check out those sites. The automapping seems to create some problems when i try take the fur off his face.
