hey!

am building a polygon head template but can't find a decent nose tutorial anywhere

any ideas/can anyone help?

Hi Natz,

first I want to apologize... :)

but I couldn't help it... when I saw the title of this post... I once together with a friend made a song called the "Nose Song"...

it goes something like... My nose knows a nose who knows etc. :D

regarding a nose tutorial... I don't know if there are any specific tutorial on that... but on this page there are a lot of links to sites with Maya tutorials... -->

go down to "ORGANIC - HEAD"... there is about 23 tuts about head modelling... maybe one of them has something about making the nose... :)

hey, there is this awesome modeller ,,,"CEMRE Ozkurt" who discussed a lil bit about modelling the nose of a character in maya.
he actually uses 3ds max, but on the following page he tells about the making of his one of the projects....... i think the wireframe view gives a good base idea...if you could follow and understand the positioning of the verts... you will end up with a nice nose ;)
