*Quick Question*

Hey Guys and Gals of Simply Maya,

I was wondering how one could round off corners on a polygon rectangle or cube? Maybe I am missing something or do I need to use NURBS?

As an example..I want a recatangle to look like a "Twinkie" So to speak. (HA HA)

Any advice or screen shots would be WONDERFUL!!!!!

Thank you in advance

easiest way is to use nurbs.

There is an easy rounding tool for the nurbs, if you choose to begin with a nurbs-cube-primitive.

But you have to select the nurbs-edges in pairs and shift klick to select other pairs (for the cube), I think.

select the edge then click edit polygons -> bevel option... then select segments to how much you want and then select the roundness you want.. then bevel... there are other methods to do this, but for the time being,, this is one method..:)
