I think he just posted a demo of the plugins -
or maybe he did yesterday ?? I think it is also in www.HighEnd3D.com This is the old page Nir |
Has anyone made any useful shelf icons pertaining to this wonderful set of tools?

I agree... nice stuff
|
Nice! I might have to see if my studio will get a few. :D

Yeah Byron released the Bevel in his Toolset as a standalone plugin over on the CgTalk Maya board, which was very nice of him. Works like a charm, and I know plenty of people, like me, were in need of a Bevel for Maya that actually works. :)
Surprised Alias hasn't hired this guy yet. |

Maybe they don't hire underaged geniuses LOL - after all he is just 21... |
I realize this is an older thread but wanted to find out if anyone's currently using byron's polytools? He had a thread not too long ago at cgtalk where several people were having really bad file corruption issues on save (i.e., maya crashes on save and you can't open your file anymore....imagine that after working for a month on a detailed mesh!!!). Anyway, was curious to see if anyone's using it or has had similar problems.

I have only used it a few times and didnt haave any problems but I am not doing anythig that complex with it. But I did just download the newer Alph ver with several fixes will install later this week and check it out. It has several bug fixes.
