Okay guys. I hope it's not to late to get into this challenge. Here's my entry. Of course, it's still a WIP, but it's a start.

Really good design! Good to see another person joining into the fray :) Can't wait to see more!

Thanks guys. I'm busting my a$$ trying to get it done, alongside working on two animation projects and a Masters Thesis for school. Arrrgh!
Tell me... and be honest.... Does it get any easier out there? :D |

Like I said, time for me now is limited. I'm just hoping to get this thing finished cause I'm so overloaded with school work. I hate to start something and not be able to finish it.
Anyway, I added the front spikes tonight. Gonna work on the wheel house next time and add more detail to the body hopefully tomorrow. Well, here it is... |
with those added spikes it looks better man.. cool.. :D
|
Started to come alive now! :)

SubMarine
Cool, clean Design...but why did u chose Poly's for u'r submarine?
|
BulletProof: It just seems easier for me to model in POLYs. I like to use NURBS when I'm going for a more organic look or something with curved edges, but polys just flows so much easier for me.
|
i must agree with dave here... much prefer polys!
|
Nurbs & Co.
For everybody what he prefers. A Submarine for me is a organic object...Nevermind...keep on the good work. Interested to see more of it....

Why shouldn't you keep up? At this point every model has it's advantages...very hard to say which is best so far....great ideas from everyone....
