iPod Shuffle
 

Hello Folks,

I've been a little bogged under with university work recently which is why I've made no progress on my little bird project. I had a bit of a play with Maya today and came up with this, anything to take my mind of the uni work I've been stressing about over the past week or so!!

Specialist Projects 2 was the module whose deadline was yesterday. Working in a group we had to design a media product which centred on Hair and Fur Simulation. The stressy part was waiting for all of the other group members work to arrive (some of it just didn't!) so that I could put it into the website that I had designed.

It's all done now, only one more module to complete this semester (it's deadline is next wednesday).

Yep dude that's a right pain!

Dave: I will be adding to the site when I have the time and will more than likely expand the content as there is only so much you can say about hair and fur!!

Steve: I ended up having to do extra stuff to fill holes in the site. The dynamic joint chain tutorial was made the day before the project was submitted and I am still waiting for that student to mail me his work, not that it will count now!!.

Group work can be a brilliant or it can make you lose your hair!! Over all this group was pretty cool though.

Regarding the iPod I'm just about finished making the headphones and will have a render up here in a short while.

I'm in Sheffield, travelling to Bradford to go to university (only when it's absolutely necesarry though!!).

ahh Bradford, they have a nice motion capture set up there (so i've heard).


the headphones are looking nice mate, good going.

I'm not really too sure about that, I only go there when I need to and I'm no where near advanced enough to be trying equipment like that out!!

I stuck some raytrace shadows on the scene and upped the FG to 2000 and this is the result,
