will do will do! ;) pretty much stuck on UV wrap right now, how i hate it, must be the worst part of doing 3D :confused:

rhaoosh 13-09-2004 01:49 AM

I agree with you on UV mapping..no fun. That's why I cheat and use 3d paint with automap.. hehe

Awesome sumo dude. I'd love to animate him.

Element_Khaos 13-09-2004 11:27 AM

hey that sumo guy looks just like the guy from street fighter. anyone else remember him? his name is honda i think he's on the right in this pic. anyway keep up the good work man, stuff looks great at lowpoly cant wait to see it textured.

E Honda is his name and by god he rocks!

David Nilsson 13-09-2004 04:44 PM

just made an Ape in a quickie,
his legs are a bit long for now

@rhaoosh
regarding the sumo
if you rig him yourself you can give him a go when i have the texture done, as long as i get a copy of him rigged and weighted :)

Great stuff mate, good to see some lowpoly work. Really like the horse, good luck with the normal mapping. Are they for a game in paricular or just for the fun/challange?

David Nilsson 13-09-2004 09:21 PM

@ Element_Khaos

E Honda and the guy in the link more or less was the reason why i made a Sumo wrestler :)

@lonepig

thanks alot, non of the characters are for any specific game project, just for my own amusement :) we more or less just finished a game at work, so it is nice to have time now to model on personal projects insteed of work related characters :)

Hi David

Cool Stuff, I haven't done a lot of game work myself, but these are great. As for normal mapping - cooool

mike is mtmckinley. He works in the videogame industry and seems to favor low poly models and the creativity that can go into them.

Hell prolly be along soon. If you put "Game Models" in your Head topic hes prolly be here in about 5 minutes;)
