Ok I considered the idea of modeling my DV camera but then I thought nah !
I want a challenge so I'm going to model the Wurlitzer 1015 Jukebox :) |
Guy, you're really corageous! I hope you get awesome results.
|
I'm not sure if it's courage or stupidity but I am going to give it a go :)
Made a start and will probably post some progress tomorrow . |
Nice choice! Definitely looking forward to your progress. :)

heres a rough render of my progress so far, I made a start on the front panel
|
hey good start man how do i get shadows?
|

made a little more of the case .
Magicsy ....to get basic shadows select your keylight (main light in the scene) and hit ctrl+ A then in the attribute editor under Shadows check Use "Depth Map Shadows", you will have to increase the resolution (just below where you checked) to suit your scene. just a rough render to show WIP :) |
Cool subject. Lookin' good so far, dude!

completed the nameplate and nunber pad sections, just a few trims to model and I will be moving on to the turntable section.
I have a choice here as there was a 78rpm version plus a 45rpm and just recently a CD version, i am personally leaning to the the original 78rpm as this is the most authentic :) |
Realy nice jsprogg
|
Thanks Vim ..some of those parts were a bitch to model, looked so easy in 2D ..lol
Hope my texturing can do it justice , it's by far my weakest link. |
