Done Some Quick Sketches (Very Quick Look like a 5yr old has done them) of roughly wat i want the transformer to look like.
Obviously when i get started in maya i can really begin to plan out how to do this. Its gonna be real challenge to design something that ultilises part that can fit in botht the mech and vechile. Side View: |

Went into Maya and used primatives to kinda plan out how it will work
|
I know it isn't very cool, yet it could be very fun to have a domestic robot, a servant type, which would come out of the wheelchair, instead of a fighting robot. indeed, it would be even useful for daily life!
:) keep it up! |
Maybe it could be a medical droid? - white with red crosses etc. Useful for both humans and injured bots.
Or maybe you could convert the idea into a futuristic person transporter, like a 1 man bike/car hybrid? |
LOL these are great ideas guys thanks. i think i might well have a little mini bot pop out, kinda of like the way the tapes fly out of soundwave lol
|
ha ha - excellent choice Bowring_2002. This project has a lot of potential - I am looking forward to seeing how this idea will progress.

Created the Chair and Kinda Pieced together the Tranformed state. Really Enjoying this Challenge, its actually forced you into modeling a completely different way, other than have a set image on screen or in your head to model to whilst your conforming you have to take what the other state is like into considoration as well.
|
nice progress bowring :)
looks like you'll have it finished before the rest of us have even got halfway! |
nice
I can't wait to see this transform. It is looking good, nice work.
|

Nice work Bowring_2002. I am just not sure about his hands - they look a little awkward. I think you need to seperate the thumb from the rest of the fingers to give it it's own space and angle and also make the hand a little bit bigger to go with the rest of your model. Keep up the good work.
|
Cheers for the Comments Arran. Im also not exactly happy with the hands, im currently sketching out some new designs for legs and arms, im finding it very difficult to design legs atm as they have to be able to fold up and collapse inside the body :headbang:
I have to say though im really enjoying the challenge and have really learnt a few new techniques which i would usually apply. Espically as a moddeler i have to model for once with animation in mind which is a challenge in itself |
nice detail on the tires mate.
keep up the good work :) |
niiiiiiiice.
|
I would like to see a cleaner render on the next WIP if you would be so kind. :)
