haha, geez...... Umm... fine, Am I allowed to call-off the end time and just finish them whenever I can? I think that would be more likely for me, haha
I need the practice, and thats what this is for. so yeah, no timeline, I will just finish them ASAP.. cool? Update later with start of texture |
hahaha, well, it's your own challenge, so you can do whatever you want ;)

Started blocking out the fins and teeth and stuff,,,, the eye is very temporary though, as I hate it. haha
tell me what you think so far |
cool - i like him - good colors so far, tho it might be nice to see some scales or something. :)
|
He will have scales, like I said, it is VERY WIP right now, I have only spent a few minutes on it so far. More this week, maybe tomorrow or something

Still Kickin'

Any comments?
I need to make sure I am not doing something completely wrong... |
i'm not sure you are doing anything wrong but why is that last picture lacking in shading?
|
Because N64 style games (what these were inspired by) don't have shading.... So why should I?
The spittlebone didn't either. I am trying to get better at modeling and texturing, and this seems to be a nice way to do it. thanks, -Andy |
Your making a good start however with the eye it seems to be backwards?! the shading around the edge seems to be going the wrong way for what i would imagine an eye socket to be.
Its hard to explain with words will do a quick sketch see if i can show you what i mean. Argh my artistic skills arnt good enough without a tablet... but to better describe there should probably be a highlight on the brow rather than a shaded part. look at some reference eyes (even use some for quick textures) |
Will update this soon.... school just ended TODAY and I have alots o' free time.
Sorry I haven't added to this lately |
