ack! i've been itching to join in on this competition since the start, but have been too busy with other nonsense. i finally have some free time so i'm just going to see how much i can get done in the last 10 days. :)

good luck to everyone else - it's great to see so many entries this time.

so here's my crappy concept.

here's the start i made last night.

alright - here's where i am - think i'm almost done blocking out the main shape.

aside from an earlier sm comp, i don't usually make spaceships or sci-fi stuff so i'm wondering how this will turn out myself! :)

*whisper whisper* hey, if you look through it you can see things from further away as if they're up closer, these binoculars are great! *whisper whisper*

all jokes aside, i'm glad i'm not the only non-sci-fi orientated fellow in this comp!

hey - thanks everyone for the comments. ha ha - yeah - i suppose it does look a bit like binoculars :)

here's a bit of an update - have been struggling a bit but it's getting there. taquion - yeah - i've been going back and forth with the wings - i even debated getting rid of them completely.

It looks like the ark from the original Transformers comics/tv show. - looks good so far - I like the wings

bit of an update - just reshaping the back and trying to get it all to work - spaceships are harder than i thought. :(

started making landing gear, but i'm not sure about them.

I certainly like your modeling!! And the ship is looking very good. Are you having fun with it thought? ;-)

It really would have been cool to have you start this months ago just to see where you would have taken this.

If you create a shape and you start to search, sooner or later you find something that looks close.

Did you know that the amount of images that can be shown in a computer monitor is finite? you just multiply all the posible values for the pixels and you get an enormous but finite number.This number includes all the possible pictures shown, all the possibles pages written, etc..

ha ha - thanks for the pic tweet. :) i was thinking it maybe looked a bit like a snowspeeder - definitely had that in mind - and maybe a couple of wipeout ships... don't think i've played that game tho - looks cool.

i'm definitely with taquion on this one - originality is a myth. :)

Arron, I like what you have done in the time you had. Certainly like your modeling style, I always have. I really would have enjoyed seeing it if you had 2 months, it would be killer I know!!!

Yeah, nice model man! Very clean as usual.... would have been better if you had it an an environment.... even a docking port would have been cool.

It still rocks either way!
