I am going to try fur never used it before also will send to zbrush for wrinkles. Trying not to comlicate to much as I need to catch up with you and tweetytunes. Should be fun. and this is fast for me...LOL.......dave

Yeah, but don't feel like you need to rush it... we're only 5 or 6 days into a month long challenge.

I like the idea of him standing guard at some gates, now that you've said it I keep thinking of the fortress on Skull Island from the King Kong movie. Maybe it could be like it was set way before that film when his family were still alive, mixed with Planet of the Apes.... Sorry, got carried away a little there....

Trying to keep away from king kong and planet of the apes at the moment, I thinking very polished steel armour as for a weapon not sure yet (heavy spears) for close range he will use his hands and feet...............dave

it's still a pretty good hand though

could do with some more meat to it though!

see - told you not to worry - your catching up nicely - had a load of moving house stuff to do this weekend and boom your almost got the whole thing blocked out.

Only thing with the hands - ain`t they (on gorillas) much more winkled than human hands. Might be an idea to get some of that in there at this stage.

This is about my forth hand Ive done I could model a bit more in maya but much easer in zbrush

I am catching up but think you are going to have another spurt, Im also have work done on the house so only have ten minutes here and there that sucks, thanks for the photos will do the detail work in zbrush his hand will be a hybred between human and ape.............dave

looks like its leaning back too much, i think it should be more hunched over to be more gorilla like?

I was gonna say his arms look too long... but then I remembered it's a gorilla, not a person. I guess it's the pose he's in at the moment that's throwing people off. (proportionally)
