Ok, I decided to start the thread. Now, show yourself "M" :D

Alright, lets see your true powers :O. Heheh, anyways i have chosen to model the gun that everyone loves, the gun off of the movie "The Fifth Element"... the ZF1! Below are a couple screenshots of this awesome gun, just incase you have not seen it before.

And here is IMG #2, the side view of this gun.

Here is my start to the gun. This is just the start of the rought shape. This is going to be somewhat of a hightech weapon. It will have a walkie-talkie type thing intergrated into it along with a homing beacon. Might even add one of those things were they were googles and the googles show what the gun see's, to see around corners. Let me know what you think.

O' by the way. The reason for the trigger is inversed is because it recognises the finger print of the user that it is meant for . Basicly to stop theft.

Looking nice enemy. I should get started on my gun later tonight, or tommorow :D. Im just plotting out, how should i start, lol. I think i have an idea :P.

Well, with photoshop i have taken out the insides of this gun and assembled the gun. Didnt make a perfect fit due to a not perfect side angle refrence, but i was able to fill in some gaps and come out with my refrence :D. I will model the shell, then cut it up and model the insides after :).

Alright, heres around half a hour into the gun. I have tons of tweaking to do just for the general shape. Its forming though, as you can see from the above refrence.

Hey mumbojumbo, yea for now i have to mold it a bit more, then i have to hollow out the inside and then i will maybe add a metal shell to the inside. But when i model the components inside, i will try my best to model every part all the way through, including making sure it can close and shut (Rig it). HOPEFULLY i can get that all done, if not i may have to take shortcuts and ditch the stuff that wont be seen :P. (LOL the whole other side... nah).

Oh i wish i could make weapons... but if i was in one of these duels i would most likely use bryce to make a weapon:)

Here is a start on the ammo.

I like the bullets. Although their not very pointy. Maybe Im just blind.....I dunno.

they are roughs i assume... because the casing is still very blocky at the end and the fronts not too pointy. But im sure it will come out fine:)

what kind of pistol? colt? Hidden hammer? exposed?

Alright, heres where i am so far on the gun. I have been tweaking for a hour or more now, and yea, i have refined the general shape, then sucked in some of the verts and have been designing the top and front view of this gun, so that its not just an oval :P. Then i have added a dome like you see on the refrence picture thats above the gun. This is exact side view.

Lol, i so wish i could tweak these images, seeing that i see a few things i would just LOVE to touch up in photoshop.. but i wont. Just have to move a few verts :).

Ok, I promise this is the last time that I will redo the gun :D

Hey, its fine that you are restartin the gun, just hope that you get caught onto something and we have a great long battle going on :D.

Oh, and By the way, all of my guns that i would ever make would be quite futuristic :). Lol, thats just me though.. i love making stuff that isnt real. The choice for your gun looks great! Take it slow though, you have until next monday :).
