Lol, after watching -again- a few more times the trailer, and playing around playback controls with my brother, we noticed several curious things I would like for you guys to watch for.

Some of you VFX veterans might have already noticed them.
They´re more or less related to compositing, specially faces. :)

YUP!

In the "BURLY BRAWL" (esc vfx code-name for the big agent smith vs. neo fight)
go frame-by-fame, and yuo can see some of the agent smiths faces are other people!

Also, frame-by-frame through the trinity motorcycle sequence, and you can see that some of the cars (most are cg) look at the wheels.
They arent FULLY on the ground plane! hehe...

Do not mess with the agent-totally-smashing-the-car-to-pieces one though. I happen to like the way they edited that one in the trailer. :p

In any case, here are some more examples. In the Trinity bike shots, look at the composite of her foot in the shot. Really strange, I don´t wonder though, as the lighting itself in that particular point must be very difficult to achieve -having the shadow of the wall there-.

man.. we are abunch of anal dudes in this post !.. hahahaa... but those pictures are very interesting to look at. I never noticed all those "imperfections".. .. But when I saw the trailer and the twins... I can't wait to see the movie !

Now dont get me wrong. I want to see the movie, and it is goign to kick soem freaking ass! But... I've read how there new tech stuff, lets them make people exactly, down to the milapixel. Yet they cant seem to make realistic tires, and get them to touch the ground...

Dont know if you know this, but the twins in the film were on Liquid News last November and they let slip that they play a computer virus in the Matrix system...sound great :D

The twins are helping Agent Smith. Because of the virus in the system, he is now able to clone him self. Sounds GREAT!

Yeah yeah, I know they premiere it around May 15th worldwide, but in Venezuela, it´s being premiered May 21th.

Actually, the twins are part of the "elete" group of bodyguards guarding the "matrix-power-broker" character that has a girlfriend (whore) called Persephone

He uses her to get to Neo to try to tempt him over to the "dark-side" sortof...

As the movie progresses, we find out her "true" need is rather simple... it is simply just... "to feel".

This "matrix-power-broker" character has a FUNKY name, that I can't remember at the moment, but anyway....

How´s the bamf effect coming along mate?

Havn't been able to touch it, as I'm nearing the "detail-modeling" phase of my ARGUS ship model project.

Can't wait to get to that tut though, it'll be pretty cool to see it in action.

Problem is, I don't have a dv cam, and I need some quick 2 second 720x486 (D1) dv footage of someone jumping, and also a clean bg plate as well.

Maybe I could post a user request for some simple quick footage, and the best shot wins thier face in the tut as the BAMF subject.
