hey, just did a quick test of the tire. I think i am going to have to break the outside tire into a couple pieces, or change the bump map. C&C on this or the car... anything?

Vectorman 22-05-2003 06:32 AM

i think the tire looks cool! but the side wall definately has a problem on it. Although i can't tell what it is sorry. The bump on the outer surface should be okay, unless you want extreme close ups on the treads. Kurt makes really good tires..........

i would love to use your bumper! ;) great start, need to see more, b4 i get to heavy in Critique. Later,
Brian,
BTW are you using Blueprints? I used the ones from Surrland, they worked well, althought the resolution on their image is pretty low.

Forum_snowboarder33 23-05-2003 06:51 PM

i think i did get them from surrland. The planes really don't even match up... but that doesn't really matter. Now its time to tackle the back end.... This should be interesting.
The front end i am modeling is the blitz front.. gotta love that one.
BTW, this is a design of what my real car will look like when it is finished.. i hope : )

popo_popo2003 25-05-2003 08:26 AM

fantastic car !

Forum_snowboarder33 25-05-2003 09:00 AM

well to make this, i used basicly all curves, and the bi-rail tool.
