If the inside missle is fired, does it hit the front wheel arch? Hehehe

brian_ellebracht 16-06-2003 04:55 PM

don't worry, I made the door open far enough so it clears the fender flares. ;)

There are some tri's here and there, but I tried to keep it quads. THe actual mesh for the truck is light, so that when I convert to Subd's there won't be any bumps... Here is the side

brian...try doing it on a celeron 350 with 64 mg ram.... then Il be impressed :D

LOL just kidding mate! looks good

brian_ellebracht 16-06-2003 06:55 PM

I can still open this on my older computer... Its a Sony Vaio Pentium 3, 1.2 Ghz with 512 mb of ram and a Gforce 3 TI500 video card. Ok its not that old,;) but its still chugs a bit on a GF3. If you have less of a machine, layers make all the difference, only have on what you need to, that way its still easy to rotate and stuff. I now have about 16 layers just for this truck. For the stuff I do for work, get this... I have over 300 (if not more)  Maya Layers per scene , so that I can still work in a scene that has some where around 2 million Faces.
Brian

BTW thanks for your replies kevin!
