wow...the mesh is looking good and clean
maybe add some more muscles :D |
howardporter>> Thanx, for the idea, I've never thought of that method, I'm going to give it a go right now.
eagleking>> Thanx for the compliments, now that I've decided on a cartoon model, cause it will be less polys easier for me to animate, I think I'm going to add more muscles. |
You are right we should get them together! While my bunny is falling off it's skates your gorilla can rip it's head off! Looking good.

I've been busy trying to find a job, which is still a nadda. But I just updated my gorilla, I've been working on the physique a bit more, soon I'll be working on the head. I haven't really thought of any mechanical improvements.. except for the fact that he might have a steroid problem.. if you have any suggestions feel free to post.

Comming along great mate..... Hope you dont mind I posted a pic of some of the areas you might want to look at..... The arms need just a few small things. A bicep, just to break up the arm, it looks like one long forarm, this will help make the arm look a lot more organic and you dont have to add a ton of detail to keep the cartoon feel.
Good stuff.... proportions are there mate. Kurt |
Thanx Kurt, your opinions are greatly noted.

Hey coming along great! The things kurt said to edit makes sence, and would probably be easiest to do with a lattice, over hand selected face :).

Update, been working all day on it.. C&C please.. let me have it.
|
His left hand looks wierd, cause it got cut off.. in the screenshot.. no worries.
|
Dude!!!!! that rocks mate.......really comming along now..... Just give him a crease on the otter arm for a to seperate the shoulder and the bicep.
Great improvment |
looking great :)
only thing i could think of could be that the knuckles are kind of strait if you know what i mean.. but thats no biggie :) |
Ah also like the previous 2 posts.. really coming along! Looking really good :D. One thing i would suggest is on his back you have it so that it sharply comes in around the waist, then comes out again to the ass very sharply.. maybe smooth it out so that it barely comes in at all to the waist for the back :). Just because that would be a pretty messed up spine :P. Muscles are looking good.. you can probably bring in some polys or w/e your using right below the kneecap, then work on below that for his calves... im pretty sure gorillas would have huge gastrocnemius's :D.

Coming along nicely- like the arms!
