I've also tried to edit>delete by>history for the entire gun and all of it's components because I have combined and separated them multiple times. I think the corrupt material type may have merged...

Yes I think your right. I had a problem like this a long time ago. The thing is, I have so many separate pieces on my object that it would take ages to debug.

Is there a way to get a running list...

The hand seems to have the smooth preview on it.

How can I take this off? Then should I combine?

And yes the arm and hand are both polygonal surfaces.

Hello,

I am combining an arm with a hand I created.

I go to Mesh>Combine - but when I do, the hand becomes extremely blocky and geometric once they combine.

And ideas?
