okay so i want to start modeling a shoe .

i created the planes, opened hypershade created lambert

and put the image of the front shoe on it and then applied it to the plane

for some reason...

the object had a negative scale in it

i just set it to positive and then freezed transformation

moved it to the place i wanted and the freeze transformation again it worked

here is what i did i duplicated the pants

and then took a peice from it to draw a knife bag (see image)

i want to freeze transformation now and it turns black

the faces aren't reversed i...

hey everyone

i have created a 3d character using maya 8.0 and i export it to

.obj so that i can open it in zbrush i get in the maya output

ya i created one side of the face but when i duplicate it to other

side it comes out black so i was messing with maya and i found mirror geomtry and used it

it worked the other side came up...

but one question is it the same as duplicate or does it work differently when i want to texture
