How would you recommend fixing that seam through the middle of the hood? In the tutorial, the author talks about stitching, but doesn't really go into it at all....Would that be the solution?

Yeah I know I used birail the right way....I didn't rebuild the curve, and I've checked if everything is touching. I just want to figure out why this in particular wouldn't be working?

Actually all you have to do is select the CV or edit point you want to snap to the curve. Then hold down C and click the curve you want it to snap to.

I found that out the hard way.
