super stuck - the maya Uv grid size seems to stop at 1024 - you can't move the slider up anymore, also it doesn't seem to do anything visibly noticeable to the grid.

This is an issue I've never really been able to solve. How do I go about getting my windows to reflect a sky?. The windows have a glass shader applied, but still appear black?

unfortunately that's what I did. However, after selecting a vert and moving it with w the entire object moves with the vert - not just the vert?
