Did a quick hole, combined cube and tube, hit button 3.

Try and clean up those stray lines, three on the apple and one on that hole section. geometry needs to be uniform like you have on the corners.

Been a while since I did modelling, so had to relearn the basics, back to an old favourite. Just have to start texturing now.
